The Steering Committee is a group of individual stakeholders who represent the diverse perspectives and needs of the people of North Olmsted. The committee comprises a cross-section of the city, including residents, business managers, property owners, and institutional representatives.
Over a series meetings spanning twelve months, through discussions and generative workshops, the Steering Committee will offer expertise from their respective professional fields and lived experience of the city.
The Steering Committee also takes a leading role in planning community engagement, and offers insight on how inclusive and equitable outreach can invite as many voices to the table as possible.
The ideas and consensus of the Steering Committee, in combination with broader community feedback, will form the basis of the 2025 Comprehensive Plan. The Steering Committee will review and revise the draft plan, then continue to oversee and champion implementation and community engagement after the plan has been approved.
